Frequently asked questions

What people ask us most before placing a first order.

How can I buy online with cryptocurrency?

Almost no shop accepts crypto. With CendanBridge you paste the product link, we give you the final price in euros and you pay in crypto: USDC or EURC, which are stablecoins, or BTC or LTC. We place the order in your name and the shop ships it to your address. It works with virtually any online shop that has a public product page.

Which cryptocurrencies can I use?

USDC and EURC, two stablecoins (one tracks the dollar and the other the euro), and also BTC and LTC. You can send them from almost any exchange or from your own wallet, on the network you pick from those we offer at checkout. With BTC and LTC you have less time to pay and the rate carries a slightly larger margin, because their price moves while you pay.

What do you charge?

A banded fee that falls as the order grows, calculated on the price of the products: shipping carries no fee. There is also a minimum fee per order, so on very small orders the effective rate sits above the table. VAT is charged on our fee only, at the rate of the country of delivery if the shop is in the EU; items shipped from outside the EU, or delivered outside it, carry none. The shipping and the products are invoiced by the shop with its own. No subscription, no signup cost, no minimum order. The exact amount is in your quote and is frozen into your order: if we change our rates later, yours settles at the rate you were quoted.

Which shops can you buy from?

Almost any online shop with a public product page, in any country. If it ships from outside the European Union, on delivery the carrier will charge you import VAT and customs, which you pay and which are not part of our quote. You paste the link and we read that page. Some large marketplaces have a dedicated integration, and on others we cannot buy because of how their checkout works; when that happens we tell you straight away and offer you the same item where it can be bought. Before charging you anything, we review every order by hand and send you the quote.

Do I need a card or a bank account?

No. Payment is made entirely in cryptocurrency from your wallet, and you don't need a card that works in the shop's country. You don't have to open an account there either: if that shop won't sell without registration, we open one in your name and with your address, and we operate it solely to carry out your orders.

Who is responsible if the product is faulty?

The shop that sold it to you. The order is placed in your name and with your details, so the purchase is yours with them and their warranty covers you directly. We hand you the order number and the receipt that shop issues, which is what you need to sort it out.

Can I return what I buy?

Under the terms of the shop that sells it to you, which are the ones governing your purchase. Professional retailers publish their return windows; a private individual may accept no returns at all, so check the listing before you ask us to buy. You handle the return with the shop, using the receipt we gave you.

How do you refund me?

When the shop accepts the return, their refund reaches us and we send it to you in the coin you paid with, to an account of yours on an exchange, on the network you choose. Whatever the shop refunds reaches you in full; our fee is not part of that money, because it pays for a job already carried out. The amount is fixed in euros and converted on the day we send it, and we pay the network fee. Under the EU rules on transfers of crypto-assets we can only send it to an exchange account, not to a self-custody wallet.

The product is priced in dollars. What do I pay?

You always pay in euros. We convert using European Central Bank reference rates, published once every working day, and show the original amount and its currency next to the euro price. If we can't reliably determine which currency a price is listed in, we don't guess: we confirm it by hand when preparing your quote.

What if the price changes between adding to cart and paying?

The price you pay is the one in your quote, which we prepare by checking it at the shop. If it expires before you accept it, we review it again. You are never charged an amount other than the one you accepted.

Where can you ship?

The original shop ships to the address you give us, so the destination depends on where that particular shop delivers. If your address isn't valid for that item, you'll know from the quote, before paying anything. If it is outside the European Union, or in the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla or an overseas territory, you'll be charged that place's import taxes and duties on delivery, which you pay. We don't ship to countries under international sanctions, such as Russia or Iran.

How long does delivery take?

The lead time is set by the original shop and its carrier; we add the time it takes to place the order, usually the same day. Your account shows the order status and the shipping references as soon as they exist.

Question not here?

Write to us and we'll answer. We would much rather clear it up before you order than after.
