Terms of service
Version 2026-09-02 · last revised: 2 September 2026
1. What we actually do
CendanBridge is a purchase mandate service. You choose the product and the shop; we carry out that purchase in your name and on your account (art. 247 of the Spanish Commercial Code and art. 1709 of the Civil Code), and we charge you a fee for doing so.
We are not the seller of the product and we do not resell it. The contract of sale is between you and the original shop. The order placed there carries your name, your address and your email, and we pay the amount to the shop. We never own the product and we do not store it: the shop ships it straight to you.
2. The mandate you give us
By confirming an order you expressly authorise us to:
- Buy in your name the items you have chosen, from the shops you have chosen.
- Give those shops your name, your delivery address and your email address, because without them the purchase cannot be made in your name.
- Pay the amount to the shop on your behalf.
The mandate is carried out immediately after payment. By accepting it you expressly ask us to begin the service now and you accept that, once fully performed, the service has been supplied and its fee is not refundable (art. 103.a of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007). This concerns only our service: what you can do with the product is set by the shop that sells it to you.
2.1. You choose the shop
Choosing where to buy is yours, and so is the responsibility for that choice. We carry out the mandate at the shop you point us to: we do not investigate it, we do not check its solvency or its service, and we do not answer for it delivering. If you paste a link to a shop you don't know, look it over first exactly as you would if you were buying there yourself — because in practice that is what happens.
When we show you shops — in the storefront or when suggesting alternatives — that is help finding the product, not a recommendation of the merchant. Of those shops we check technical things, such as whether they publish their catalogue and their prices; we do not check whether they are trustworthy. The final decision, and living with it, is yours.
3. The buying account we open in your name
Some shops — Amazon among them — do not allow purchases without registering: they have no guest checkout. So that the order can be placed in your name and not ours, we open an email account of its own and, with it, an account at that shop in your name and with your address.
That is what allows the shop, and not us, to be the one selling to you, and therefore for the invoice, the warranty and the right of return to be theirs, under the terms explained in sections 7, 8 and 9. Without that account the purchase would have to be in CendanBridge's name and you would stop being the buyer.
We create and operate that account. We keep its credentials and use them solely to carry out the orders you give us: buying what you ask for, tracking the shipment and handling with you whatever comes up with the shop. We do not use it for any other purpose, we give it no other commercial use and we do not share it with third parties.
That account is not transferred. We do not hand over its credentials, neither during the relationship nor when it ends: it is a tool of ours for carrying out your orders, and for as long as it exists we operate it. At any time you can ask us, writing to support@cendanbridge.com, to close it and stop buying in your name.
When you close your account — whether you ask us or do it yourself from your profile — we close it for you, with nothing further for you to do.
Note that purchases made from that account are yours: the invoice, the warranty and any claim against the shop are yours and are exercised in your name. If you need any of those documents, ask us and we'll give them to you. What we do not hand over is access to the account.
4. What you pay
The amount you see before confirming is made up of four items, and no others:
- Price of the products, as set by the original shop. It is paid to them.
- Shipping provision, which is what is set aside to pay the carriage. When we can read what the shop charges, that is the figure; when we cannot, it is the one explained in section 4.1.
- Our service fee, calculated on the price of the products alone. The shipping provision carries no fee: we do not charge a percentage for handling carriage. It is the only thing we charge, and it pays for the purchase mandate.
- VAT, at 21%, calculated on the fee plus the shipping provision. They are two different bases and it is worth not confusing them: the fee is calculated on the products, and VAT on our fee and our provision. The products are invoiced to you by the shop with whatever tax applies to them, which is why they fall outside this line.
4.1. The shipping provision, and what happens to what is left over
At most shops we can read the carriage before you pay, and then what you see in the cart is the shop's. When we cannot read it, we do not invent an amount and charge it to you as if it were theirs: we set aside a provision of €4.99 plus VAT, we show it in the cart as a separate line and you can correct it right there if you know what that shop charges. If the item is one that does not fit in an ordinary parcel — a piece of furniture, a large appliance — we warn you that the provision is going to fall short before you pay.
We set that provision and it need not match what the shop charges. That is why it is an amount of ours and carries VAT, like the fee. If the real carriage turns out to be higher, we absorb the difference up to €2.00. Above that the order stops before anything is bought and a person reviews it: an amount other than the one shown to you is never paid at the shop. If it cannot be bought at that carriage, the whole order is refunded to you.
And if the real carriage turns out to be lower, or the shop charges no shipping, what is left over is yours: we record it as credit and take it off our fee on your next order. It is not returned to you in crypto, and that is not a whim: a two-euro payout would force you to give us a wallet and go through the entire refund process, which nobody does for that amount. The credit does not expire, you see it whenever you have a cart, and section 11 explains what happens to it if you close your account.
When what we cannot confirm is the price, the rule is different and stricter: that order generates no charge at all and becomes a quote (section 6).
The percentage depends on the size of the order, not on what you buy: the cost of carrying out a mandate is almost the same whether the order is €20 or €800, so on large orders that cost weighs far less. These are the bands, calculated on the sum of the products:
- Up to €50: 9%
- €50 to €150: 6.5%
- €150 to €400: 5%
- €400 to €800: 4%
- Over €800: 3.5%
There is a minimum fee of €1.50 per order, and it is worth knowing what that means: it is not a minimum order — it blocks no purchase — but on small orders it is what is charged instead of the band percentage, so the effective rate rises above the one in the table. At today's rates it stops applying as soon as the products go above roughly €16.67.
For the same reason, no order pays a lower fee than a smaller one: just above each band, the minimum charged is what would be paid at the top of the previous band. Without that rule it came out cheaper to order more, which has no defence.
The percentage actually applied to you and the exact amount are shown in the cart before you pay, and they are frozen into your order: if we change our rates later, your order settles at the rate you were given.
5. Products in another currency
Many shops list their prices in dollars, pounds or another currency. You always pay us in euros. The conversion is made using the European Central Bank reference exchange rates, published once every working day.
When you add the item we show you the original amount and its currency next to the price in euros, so you can check it against the shop's page. Bear in mind that:
- The ECB rate is a daily reference, so it may not match to the cent the one you see in a real-time converter.
- If we cannot reliably determine which currency a price is listed in, we do not estimate it: the item becomes a quote and we confirm it by hand before charging you anything.
6. Quotes
If any item in your order has no price we can confirm automatically, the order generates no charge at all: it becomes a quote. We check the price, the shipping and the availability at the original shop by hand and come back to you with a firm amount. Shipping that cannot be read is handled differently, with the provision in section 4.1: it is a line you can correct yourself, and whatever is left over comes back to you.
A confirmed quote is valid for 24 hours. After that we review it again, because shops change their prices. Accepting it is your decision and you take on no obligation until you do.
Likewise, if the price of an item changes at the shop between you adding it to the cart and paying, we show you and ask you to confirm before any charge is issued.
7. Your proof of purchase
Once the mandate is carried out, we hand you the order number and the receipt the original shop issues in your name. That document is the proof of your purchase and is what you need for anything you take up with them. You have it in your account, next to the order.
8. Returns and product warranty
Since the one selling you the product is the original shop, the return and warranty terms are theirs, and you handle them directly with them using the receipt we gave you. We do not set those periods and we cannot extend them.
- Professional retailers. Their return terms and their warranty cover you directly, on the terms that shop publishes.
- Private sellers. On eBay and in some listings from independent shops the seller may be a private individual. A private individual may state that they accept no returns, and in that case that condition binds you. When we detect it we tell you before you buy.
Check the shop's terms before you instruct us to buy: they are the ones that will govern your product.
9. If the shop refunds you
When the original shop accepts a return, their refund reaches us. As soon as we have it, we pay it to you in crypto to the wallet you give us. You choose the coin and the network from those available.
The amount is fixed in euros and the payment gateway converts it at the exchange rate of the moment the payout is issued. That protects you from a fall in the coin reducing what you receive, and us from a rise.
Before anything is sent, the gateway will email the address on your account so that you confirm the address is correct. Blockchain transfers are irreversible: a wrong address cannot be recovered.
We pass on what the shop refunds. Our fee pays for a mandate already carried out and is not part of that amount.
9.1. Credit balance
There is one thing that is not returned to you in crypto, and that is the surplus from the shipping provision in section 4.1: that is recorded as credit and taken off our fee on your next order, before VAT. The reason is practical: a two-euro payout in crypto would force you to give us a wallet and go through an entire refund process.
The credit does not expire, it is your money, and every entry records which order it came from. It can only be spent on our fee — the price of the product is invoiced by the shop and is not ours to discount — and it is lost if you close your account (section 11).
10. What we are answerable for
We are answerable for carrying out the mandate diligently: buying what you chose, where you chose it, in your name and with the delivery details you gave us.
- If we do not manage to carry out the mandate — because the item is no longer available, the shop rejects the transaction or we cannot complete the purchase — we return everything you paid us in full, fee included.
- If we get it wrong and buy something other than what you ordered, we bear that ourselves.
We are not answerable, however, for the product itself or for the shop's performance: quality, conformity, delivery time and returns are theirs.
11. Your data
To carry out the mandate we pass your name, your delivery address and your email address to the original shop. It is unavoidable: without that data the purchase cannot be made in your name nor the product reach your home. That shop processes it under its own privacy policy.
When we open the buying account in section 3, that same data — your name and your address — is registered with the email provider and with the shop that requires registration, because that is precisely what makes the account yours. Each of them processes it under its own privacy policy.
We do not pass your data to anyone else or for any other purpose.
When you close your account
You can delete your account from your profile whenever you like, as long as you have no order in progress and no return under way: in that case you have to wait for them to close, because deleting your data in the middle of a shipment would leave us unable to finish it. When you close your account:
- Your CendanBridge account is deleted and we close the buying account.
- Your orders are not deleted, but they stop being in your name: your name, your address, your phone, your email and the tracking number are stripped from them. What is kept is the amount, the breakdown, the VAT and the date, because they are issued invoices and the law requires them to be kept for years. After that we can no longer link them to you.
- Any unspent credit balance is lost.
So if you received an order less than 14 days ago, wait before closing your account: once it is deleted we will not be able to process its return.
